Leslie Medalie

President, Leary PR

Leslie Medalie is the president and founder of Leary & Co., Inc. Public Relations in Needham, MA. She is an E3 tutor at Emerson College in Boston, and president of The Bulfinch Group Charitable Foundation based in Needham, MA. Ms. Medalie started Leary PR in 1986 and has traveled throughout the US on behalf of such clients as the TJX Companies, New England Development, The Orvis Company, and Fidelity Investments handling media tours, social media and influencer programs, spokesperson interviews, special events, grand openings, and other communications assignments.

Ms. Medalie is a member of the Board of Trustees of the BID-Needham Hospital, a past board member of Riverside Community Care and a founding board member of Boston Women in Media and Entertainment. She also is a frequent guest lecturer at the University of Arizona and serves on the University’s Marketing Communications department’s Board of Advisors. Prior to starting Leary & Co., Inc., she managed consumer accounts for Ingalls Public Relations in Boston. She began her career at Sandy Hamer Associates in Hartford, CT and received her BS in Marketing Communication from The University of Connecticut.

Leary PR’s team is headed under the guidance of Leary PR Director of Publicity Christie Kozak who first started her tenure with the company with the introduction of Fidelity Investment’s Charitable Gift Fund.  Christie Kozak has been an integral component of the company for over two decades forging strong, lasting relationships with national print and broadcast media as well as with top social media influencers nationwide.  Leary PR’s highly trained team of researchers, special events specialists, publicists and social media coordinators are specifically assigned to each client to provide maximum results for the client’s unique needs.
